Internet Radio, what does it mean to you.

When Marconi invented the radio, I am sure he had no idea how much of an
impart he we going to make. All of a sudden the world had a new communications tool
and the world began to shrink. All of a sudden events that were taking
place in other parts of the would was now international news.

Before the advent of satellites circling the earth to carry radio signal far and wide,
the radio was limited to small areas because of the massive towers needed
to get that signal as far as possible.

Eventually the internet was born and the whole world shrank yet again and communication
was at hand for anyone with an internet connection. However it was not
until broadband started to rule the internet that internet radio came
into its own. Now we can hear motivational speakers, live internet
radio stations etc at the push of a button.

However what does this mean to you, for a long time the internet was basically text and graphics.
We were all tied down to sitting and reading stopping us from doing
other things. Now that internet radio is becoming a huge medium, you can
now tune in to one and still carry on working while you are listening.

There are many thousands on radio stations now online covering almost every subject
or genre of music. It is a no brainer now, every one with a broadband
connection can tune in and get the very lastest information on any
subject.

Yes I am very sure Marconi never knew what he had invented and what is did for the world.

Passive income is a rent received on a regular basis, with little effort required to maintain it.

The American Internal Revenue Service categorizes income into three broad types, active (earned) income, passive income, and portfolio income. It defines passive income as income from "trade or business activities in which you do not materially participate." Other financial and government institutions also recognize it as an income obtained as a result of capital growth or in relation to negative gearing. Passive income is usually taxable.

Some examples of passive income are:

* Earnings from a business that does not require direct involvement from the owner or merchant;
* Rental from property;
* Royalties from publishing a book or from licensing a patent or other form of intellectual property;
* Earnings from internet advertisements on websites;[citation needed]
* Residual income, repeated regular income earned by a sales person, generated from the payment of a product or service, that must be renewed on a regular basis in order to continue receiving its benefits;[citation needed]
* Dividend and interest income from owning securities, such as stocks and bonds, is usually referred to as portfolio income, which may or may not be considered a form of passive income. In the United States, portfolio income is considered a different type of income than passive income;
* Pensions

Passive Income should never be thought of making money with no effort. A passive income business plan, much like MLM, should be thought of as setting up specific techniques and strategies that will allow for greater ROI for the time invested in promoting it.

A good generator of passive income will combine the aspects of a business plan, and implementing that plan strategically over the long term. Many people believe that passive incomes can be generated with no effort at all. This could not be further from the truth.

If you are new to network marketing you will be faced with many choices of companies, products and compensation plans and it can seem difficult to know which one will work for you. First and foremost network marketing is a people business and even if you choose to use the internet to build your business, you will not be able to build a successful business without talking to people.

Part of building a network marketing business requires you to find customers for your products and services and the residual income is usually built by repeat customer orders and attracting fellow distributors to your team and building a downline who can duplicate your success.

Whatever network marketing opportunity you find that suits your needs, as a rough guideline they should at least cover these seven essentials:-

Well here it is...

There is so much misinformation centered around the MLM or network marketing industry that people who enter into it are destined to fail. Because the industry is so focused on sales many people get turned off. NO LONGER does anyone have to fail in the Network Marketing industry ever again! EVER, EVER, EVER!!!

The MLM industry has been around for over 50 years and will grow to over a $200 Billion dollar industry in 2010. With an industry this large someone has to be doing somethings right. What are they doing? We guide you to do what the winners do!

With so much negative and misinformation that abounds the internet, it is clear why many people fail. When you listen to the wrong people or listen to people who have failed then you will in turn fail yourself. Conversely, when you listen to people who have achieved high levels of success tell you how to become successful, and you do what they tell you, you will in turn become successful.

Now, people don't set out to fail but when coupled with people who don't understand how to create wealth, they become the very thing they are trying to avoid. This is unnecessary and does not have to happen. If MLM or Network Marketing did not work it would not be such a huge industry and growing every year by massive proportions globally.

The way to tell when someone is approaching you that does not understand the MLM/Network Marketing model is when they begin to talk to you about a particular company instead of the process. When anyone leads with the company first they don't understand the process and without an understanding of the process they become part of the 80%.

The 80/20 Rule

There is an economic rule called the 80/20 Rule. This was discovered by Vilfredo Pareto who was a professor of economics at the University of Lausanne in Switzerland. He discovered that 80% of the real estate in Italy was controlled by 20% of the people. He started to explore this theory in other fields and found out that it held true no matter where he looked. So when we apply the 80/20 Rule to MLM/Network Marketing we can see why people fail.

If 20% 0f the people are making 80% of the revenue this proves that 80% of the people are only making 20% of the revenue. With the MLM industry growing to become a 200 Billion Dollar industry by 2010, then this proves that it is a viable industry, and that 20% of the people are responsible for 80% of the growth. You in turn would want to listen to the 20% who are making the industry grow instead of the 80% who are not. But unfortunately the 80% think they have the answers and consequently they lead people down a path of failure.

Look at it this way... the MLM industry was created over 50 years ago and was created without the internet and technology. The MLM business model was created in a very simple form and was designed to be followed in a very simple way. When simplicity is removed and things are made complicated then results break down.

Many people feel that they have to sell in this model therefore they look for sales people. Well statistics show that 5% of the people in the world are sales people, therefore 95% are not. The non sales people spend their time looking for the 5% so you end up with a lot of people looking for a small amount of people. Consequently, people get disgruntled and quit. Or they say they don't want to sell and quit. Either way they have been set up for failure.

Look at it this way, if you owned a car lot and had 300 cars on the lot to sell but no one knew how to drive in the town, you could be the greatest sales person in the world but you would have no one to sell the cars to. What would you have to do? You would have to teach everyone how to drive, wouldn't you? We teach you how to drive!

We have gotten access to old MLM business model information and know how to apply this in modern times. We have seen results by going back to basics, and you can too. This is not a sales model, but the 80% have made it one. No wonder people fail! MLM/NETWORK MARKETING IS NOT A SALES MODEL and never should be perceived as such!

MLM Compensation Plans

MLM compensation plans remain a mystery to large numbers of people trying to make money from some multi-level marketing system. Its relevant to understand that most will never take the time, nor make the effort to fully understand how they are going to get paid! Yet another riddle that Mentors on a Mission will break the mystery of! Below, find a brief rundown of the basic MLM comp plans.

Unilevel plans

This type of plan is often considered the simplest of compensation plans. As the name suggests, the plan allows a person to sponsor one line of distributors, called a "frontline." Every distributor the person sponsors is considered to be on that sponsor's frontline and there are no width limitations, meaning there is no limit to the amount of people one can sponsor in the frontline. The common goal of this plan is to recruit a large number of frontline distributors and then encourage them to do the same. This is due to the fact that commissions are normally paid out on a limited depth, which typically means sponsor can earn commissions on sales between 5 and 7 levels deep.

Stairstep Breakaway plans

This type of plan is characterized as having representatives who are responsible for both personal and group sales volumes. Volume is created by recruiting and by retailing product. Various discounts or rebates may be paid to group leaders and a group leader can be any representative with one or more downline recruits. Once predefined personal and/or group volumes are achieved, a representative moves up a commission level. This continues until the representative's sales volume reaches the top commission level and "breaks away" from their upline. From that point on, the new group is no longer considered part of his upline's group and the multi-level compensation aspect ceases. The original upline usually continues to be compensated through override commissions and other incentives.

Matrix plans

This type of plan is similar to a Uni-Level plan, except there is also a limited number of representatives who can be placed on the first level. Recruits beyond the maximum number of first level positions allowed are automatically placed in other downline (lower level) positions. Matrix plans often have a maximum width and depth. When all positions in a representative's downline matrix are filled (maximum width and depth is reached for all participants in a matrix), a new matrix may be started. Like Uni-Level plans, representatives in a matrix earn unlimited commissions on limited levels of volume with minimal sales quotas.

Binary plans

A binary plan is a multilevel marketing compensation plan which allows distributors to have only two front-line distributors. If a distributor sponsors more than two distributors, the excess are placed at levels below the sponsoring distributor's front-line. This "spillover" is one of the most attractive features to new distributors since they need only sponsor two distributors to participate in the compensation plan. The primary limitation is that distributors must "balance" their two downline legs to receive commissions. Balancing legs typically requires that the number of sales from one downline leg constitute no more than a specified percentage of the distributor's total sales.

Hybrid plans

Compensation plans that are constructed using elements of more than one type of compensation plan.

No matter the compensation plan, it is important for all people to acquaint themselves with not only the money aspect of MLM marketing, but also the policies and procedures that govern that company.
